We are delighted to introduce to you a brand new series of videos with Emma and Jess of Team K, filmed at the beautiful and refined Maison du Val Hotel, close to Paris.

These elegant settings will transport you away from your average studio space, immersing you to the glamour of Kalon on tour with our gorge girls. 

For the next 10 weeks, new classes filmed in this location will be published for you to follow. 

All classes with Emma will be in English, and classes with Jess will be in French. Those of you who follow Emma and Jess' classes in Paris will know how skilled they both are at leading you through you through a class using their extensive knowledge of Barre, Yoga and Pilates, and these videos are no different. 

This first class is a perfect 15 minute Kalon Barre class if you only have a short time but want to get a full body workout in. Emma shows you how adding a bit of extra weight can Increase the intensity of your exercises and get you sweating in only 15 minutes.

You’ll need your small hand weights and a chair to hold on to !

Join our fabulous co-founder EMMA for a 30 minute Kalon Barre class that incorporates a few elements of yoga.

For those of you who are familiar with the Kalon method, in this class you’ll recognise many of our signature moves, alternating with some yoga to create that extra length in the body. 

This class is a full body workout, with a emphasis on flow. The aim is to flow from one exercise to another with smooth transitions, so even if it’s soft and low impact it stays cardio!

Take 30 minutes to enjoy this Kalon Barre class, in French, in which Ambre will guide you through a warm up and full body workout to define, sculpt and strengthen all the muscles of you body.

This practice will help you build strong muscles to help find your balance and be able to workout without any surface to hold onto.

This class is designed to be as fun as effective and challenging, and working specifically on your balance allows you to focus on the present moment, be one with your mind and body and develop a strong conscience of movement.

This workout will help you understand which muscles are active and passive when you are is a situation that requires balance and help you build strength to be able to workout on one foot.

The perfect Friday class: A 15 minute Kalon Barre focus workout with our girl Colombe, to take you through an arms and core series, working on the waist, upper body and arms.

The entire class is done with 500g weights. It’s effective, fast and you will definitely feel the intensity!

In this 30 minute yoga class, Ambre will guide you through a flow allowing you to build and challenge your balance. This beginner/intermediate class is designed to warm and challenge your mind and body, helping you develop strength, patience and flexibility.

It is composed of a short and efficient warm up, a standing challenging flow and seated postures to stretch and relax. You will find some variations of the postures so you can adapt this practice to your needs.

Practicing while respecting the rhythm of the body is key to a balanced body and mind and to your progress!

If you've been taking our classes in Paris, you may already have met our gorgeous Aussie Jenny, an ex professional dancer from the Moulin Rouge and Crazy Horse.

Being a mum of three energetic boys, Jenny really values how important it is to stay physically fit to lead a life that benefits not only herself but the well being of her family.

She is a highly qualified coach in Yoga, Pilates and barre, and has been dancing since she was little girl. She loves the way music gives her an outlet to express herself, and helping others discover movement and lead a healthy lifestyle through dance, cardio fitness and Pilates has always been a passion !

Today Jenny's first video on the app is published, so you can all enjoy her warmth, energy and talent ! 

ABOUT THE CLASS

In this 30 minute fun and creative Kalon class, Jenny guides you through a dynamic warmup, engaging your core, arms and legs focusing on creating blood circulation and flow of oxygen to the entire body.

Next, a toning arm routine with weights building strength and mobility throughout the upper body will ease you into a barre series designed for full body muscle activation and extra focus on creating muscle and endurance with our Pilates ball.

To make this class complete some cardio sequencing to increase cardio levels making it a fun and strong workout all round.

Hey Kalon Tribe !

September is usually a very busy month, and you're probably going back to school or starting work again after a well-deserved break over the summer.

So to ease back into that pre-vacay routine (or to start a new one), follow Colombe for a 7 day challenge.

She has selected classes for 15 minutes max per day, including 2 days of stretching for a good rest. 

If you find it difficult to go back to exercising after the holidays, this challenge is for you.
