Nicola Davies Thank you for your question , it’s a great topic that we have been looking into also !We believe that barre offers many benefits, including strengthening the small stabilizing muscles that support everyday movement and improving overall mobility.Kalon Barre, in particular, requires a strong mind-body connection. It involves learning and following combinations that require focus, coordination, and listening to the rhythm of music. As well as a great physical workout it helps release endorphins, improve mood, and support better sleep, which is so important to prioritize these things as well!!While we absolutely agree that lifting heavier weights is important for building strength, ideally you could incorporate it once a week into your routine, even at home, if you’re confident in your technique. Kalon Barre, however, is more well-rounded approach that offers both physical strength and overall wellbeing, and can give you a workout that’s really fun and also quite addictive ! 😀
